YOUR ONE-BIKE SOLUTION FOR ALL TERRAINS!
The Birdy Gravel is Birdy's only all-rounder model for all-terrain, and all-weather cycling.
You can confidently tackle off-road and gravel paths, pebbled walkways, street roads, park connector networks (known as PCNs).
The Birdy Gravel aims to deliver as a one-bike solution for you!
Its wide, knobby 18-inch Schwalbe Black Jack tyres and Birdy's unique full suspension system make it a top choice for riders seeking ultimate control and comfort on the road, bike paths, or off-road gravel.
With precision engineering, superior braking power, and a lightweight, compact design, the Birdy Gravel makes sure the ride quality is consistent in every ride.
18” SCHWALBE BLACK JACK 2.0" TYRES
Black Jack tyres have knobby treads that offer good grip, easy rolling and enhanced traction on gravel terrain and dirt paths.
Whether you're commuting on roads or exploring gravel paths, these Black Jack tyres give you the control you need to maintain balance across different surfaces.
SRAM X5 10-SPEED REAR DERAILLEUR & CASSETTE
Designed for off-road riders who demand reliability, the Birdy Gravel's SRAM X5 derailleur delivers smooth, snappy, and accurate shifting even in the most challenging terrain and conditions.
Whether climbing hills, clambering through flat terrain, or blasting down a gravel road, this 10-speed derailleur ensures precise gear changes, enhancing both performance and ease of use.
A 10-speed 11-32 cassette provides a huge range for this 'all-rounder' bike to tackle any gradient, whether on or off-road terrain.
JUIN-TECH CABLE ACTUATED HYDRAULIC BRAKES
Offering the best of both worlds: the powerful stopping force of traditional hydraulic systems combined with the simplicity and reliability of cable-actuated braking.
This hybrid system ensures you have precise control over your stopping power in all conditions, from smooth descents to sudden stops in busy city environments or the loose and fun gravel roads!
Juin Tech brakes are mounted via “Post Mount” which are compatible with burlier brake designs than road “Flat Mounts” for which less options are available if you intend to upgrade.
Braking is further enhanced with 160mm brake rotors providing excellent modulation, allowing for safe, controlled stops even at high speeds or in challenging wet conditions.
A 160mm rotor has better modulation and heat dissipation than smaller 140mm rotors found on similar bikes of other brands.
COMPACT DESIGN, BIG CAPABILITY
The Birdy Gravel's folding design makes it a standout in the world of performance folding bikes. With folded dimensions of 72 x 62 x 34 cm, it easily fits into small spaces, whether it's your apartment, the trunk of your car, or under your desk at work. Its lightweight frame, weighing approximately 11.4 kg, ensures you can carry it effortlessly, making it ideal for both urban commuting and longer journeys. The folded size is the smallest of all off-road folding bikes currently on the market.
The utilization of aluminium in the mainframe, fork, and rear swingarm keeps weight low compared to steel, which can be found in some models weighing in excess of 15kg.
Roll when folded without any other accessories.
The Birdy Gravel is easily rolled in its folded mode via the rear wheel, with no additional EZ wheels needed, which saves weight and adds to the versatility of the bike.
WHY GET THE BIRDY Gravel?
The Birdy Gravel redefines what a folding bike can do, offering premium features in a compact package. Whether you're an urban commuter, a weekend explorer, or a seasoned cyclist looking for a versatile, high-performance ride, the Birdy Gravel is your go-to companion. Engineered for adventure and built to excel on any terrain, this bike offers unparalleled comfort, control, and convenience for riders who refuse to settle for less.
